I've got the greatest news. I just got the letter today!

I'M BEING PUBLISHED!!!

Granted it's just a short story and will go in a collection of short stories by amateur writers but I'M BEING PUBLISHED!!!

I cannot contain my joy. This has been my dream for years!!

I can die happy now! Maybe in the future you will see my name in print on my own books. I'm a bonefide author now. A publishing company bought my short story, they'll publish it in a book...for sale!, and I'm going to have my name in a book!!

I'm so happy. So, so happy.

On September 18, 2009 at 10:09 pm, my older sister gave birth to her first son and my first nephew.

His name is Gabriel Aaron Walker. He is a healthy baby boy and came into the world screaming and with a full head of red hair. He's beautiful.

He was 10 pounds 9 ounces and 22 inches long. That is 4.79 kg and 55.88 cm for those of you that are metric.

Big baby. Mother and Son are doing just fine and Father is ecstatic. Looks like I'll be babysitting in the future, but I honestly really don't mind. I'm so happy and this is going to be so wonderful.

I will have pictures soon of him but I wanted to post this as soon as I could. I'm exhausted because it is currently 10 minutes to 1 am but I'm so happy. And I have to work tomorrow morning.

Still I'm happy and proud of my older sister, whom I love dearly. She will make the best Mama and that little boy, despite having every single one of us wrapped around his finger already, will be a handsome little boy.

He's more than likely going to be as tall as my father, his grandfather which is well over 6 feet. I hope he will be as big a teddy bear as my father is too.

My sister had to have a C-section because of his size but she's doing great and hopefully will come home Sunday. I feel kind of stupid asking this of all of you but it's my sister and I love her a lot, more than anyone could know.

Will everyone please pray for her?

Thank you so much everyone that does. I'm so excited and I'll make a picture post of my little nephew as soon as I get my hands on the pictures.
